Lodging managers
Description: Lodging managers hire, train, and supervise the people who work in hotels, motels, and even bed-andbreakfast inns. They set room rates, handle billing, order food and supplies, and oversee the day-to-day operations of business. Managers who work for hotel chains may organize and staff a new hotel, refurbish an older one, or reorganize one that is not operating well. Most work more than 40 hours a week, often at night and on weekends.

Comments:
When I was a Front Desk Clerk at a motel I was using it all the time. I had figure out prices for rooms, percentage rates and discounts, I had to count boatloads of money and credit card transactions. And if the drawer didn't match up at the end of the shift I had to figure out why.
