Conservation scientists and foresters
Description: Foresters and conservation scientists manage, use, and protect natural resources such as water, wood, and wildlife. Foresters supervise the use of timber for lumber companies. Range managers oversee and protect range lands so that the environment is not damaged. Soil conservationists help farmers save the soil, water, and other natural resources. All of these workers spend time outdoors in all kinds of weather.
