Instructional coordinators
Description: Instructional coordinators develop teaching materials, train teachers, and assess school programs. They often specialize in a specific subject, such as language arts, math, or gifted and talented programs. Most work for school districts or independent consulting firms, and they spend time traveling between schools. The work can be stressful and involve long hours. Many instructional coordinators are former teachers and school administrators.
