Clinical laboratory technologists and technicians
Description: These workers do medical tests to help detect, diagnose, and treat diseases. They match blood types, test for drug levels, and look for abnormal cells. They analyze test results and send them back to doctors. Special equipment allows them to do more than one test at a time. They may work nights and weekends. They wear gloves and masks to protect themselves from infections and diseases.
