: Food and beverage service workers deal with customers in restaurants. They take food orders, fill drink orders, serve food, prepare the bill, and may accept payment. Other workers clean dirty tables and reset them with silverware and napkins. These workers spend hours on their feet. They carry heavy trays and must serve customers quickly and courteously. Most work evenings and weekends, and many work part-time.
