: Home health and personal care aides help elderly, disabled, and seriously ill patients to live at home instead of in a nursing home. They clean, do laundry, prepare meals, and help with personal hygiene. They also check the patient's pulse and blood pressure and give medication. Aides keep records of each patient's condition and progress. They often work part-time and weekend hours.
