Payroll and timekeeping clerks
Description: Payroll and timekeeping clerks make sure that workers get their paychecks on time and that the checks are for the right amount. Timekeeping clerks collect timecards from employees and check them for errors. Payroll clerks figure a worker's pay by adding up the hours worked and subtracting taxes, insurance, and other deductions.
