Description: These supervisors and managers make sure their employees work efficiently. If supplies are low or equipment needs to be repaired, they order new supplies or contract with a repair service. They train new employees, plan their work, and check their progress. They evaluate their employees' work habits, recommend pay raises and promotions, and sometimes must fire a worker.
