Description: Desktop publishers use computers to format text, photos, charts, and other graphic elements to produce newsletters, magazines, calendars, business cards, newspapers, books, and other publications. Most work in firms that handle commercial printing and in newspaper plants, but many are self-employed. This is one of the 10 fastest growing jobs in the U.S.

Comments:
I'm a graphic designer & am always using math. Simply designing a web page requires the addition of each graphical elements length and/or width to ensure they all align properly on a page. There is also the consideration of keeping filesizes small, and calculating the time 'Webpage X' will take to download on a particular connection. - eleven24
