: Construction laborers do a wide range of physically demanding jobs. They build skyscrapers and houses, roads, and mine shafts. They remove waste materials and help tear down buildings. The work can be dangerous when they work at great heights, remove hazardous chemicals, and work underground. Some work at construction only during the warmer months.
