Gilda's family goes on a vacation. They travel 125 miles in the first 2.5 hours. If Gilda's family continues to travel at this rate, how many miles will they travel in 6 hours?

If Gilda's Family is traviling 125 miles every 2 1/2 miles ,They are traveling at a rate of 50 miles per hour. So the answer is 306 miles.

well given that it is 2.5 hours convert to minutes it is 150 minutes. now convert 6 hours to 360 minutes. So in 30 minutes he will get 25 becuase 125 dicidede by 5 equals 25. so 1 hour=50 miles. so thus in 6 hours he will travlel 300 miles.there are many other ways i ahve listed one.
