-2x^3-4x^2-3x-6Use the grouping method since there are 4 terms(-2x^3-4x^2)+(-3x-6)Now factor out like terms in each group-2x^2(x+2)-3(x+2)Since the terms inside the ( ) are equal, that is a factorTake the numbers outside the ( ) and that is another term(-2x^2-3)(x+2)You can also take the negative out of the first term to get-(2x^2+3)(x+2)The first term does not factor any more, so your answer is:-(2x^2+3)(x+2)
