Or try to solve this!

$\frac{1}{6}$ + $\frac{1}{x}$ = ^- $\frac{5}{6}$

(1/6) + (1/x) = -5/6

First get common denominators for the left hand side.

x/(6x) + 6/(6x) = -5/6

(x + 6)/(6x) = -5/6

Then cross multiply.

-30x = 6x + 36
-36 = 36x
-1 = x
