Default pls help with Algebra Q.?

Write a function that models bacteria growth y over t time periods forgrowth rate r and initial population C.1.Use the function to find the population when and t =3.8. r = 20%, C = 10,000.2.Use a graph and the function to estimate how many time periods it takes for the bacteria population to reach 21,000 for and r = 8%. C =7000.please help and explain with details. I just don't get this.

y = C(1 + r)^t1) y = 10000(1 + 0.2)^3.8 y = 19,9932) 21000 = 7000 (1 + 0.08)^t 3 = (1.08)^t log 3 = log 1.08^t log 3 = t log 1.08 t = log 3 / log 1.08 t = 14.3 time periods

y=C x (1 + r) exp t1. y = 10000 x (1.2) exp 3.8 = 10000 x 1.99934 = 199932. log y = log C + t x log (1 + r) log 21000 = log 7000 + t x log 1.08 4.3222 = 3.845 + t x 0.0334 t = 14.28
