If the solids are similar and the ratios of their sides are 2:5, try it with a cube. Make a cube with all sides as 2. Then a cube with all sides as 5. The ratio would be 6(s1)^2:6(s2)^2(s1)^2s2)^2 is the ratio4:25 is your answer.

surface area is proportional to sidestherefore the ratio of surface areas would be(2)^2 : (5)^2=4:25Ans.(b)

answer is B that is 4:25 ...............since ,you have mentioned that the square has an edge so it is a cube .now the surface area is 6(L)(L).then ratio of surface area is = square of the edge length.so ,ratio is 4:25
