square root of 45, I don't think it's on there.(hypotenuse) ^ 2 = (leg 1) ^2 + (leg 2) ^2so7^2 - 2^2 = leg ^ 2

Has to be greater than the difference in the other two sides, so 5 is out. I get 6.7082039324994, so the answer is e. none of the above.

a squared + b squared = c squareda = 2b = ?c = 72 squared + b squared = 7 squared4 + b squared = 494 + b squared - by 4 = 49 - 4b squared = 45square root of b squared = square root of 45b = square root of 45b = 6.70820393I'm not sure about the fractions. But here's a start.Then be sure to enter your answer back into the problem to make sure it is correct. You should end up with a statement that says 0 = 0 if you have the correct answer.

The answer sqrt 45 is correct but as yet, no one has simplified it correctlyrt 45 = rt 9x5 = rt9 times rt5 5 = 3rt5, which is c.

The answer is e. none of the above because it's the squared root of 45.

use the formula for the pythagorean theorem: c^2 = a^2 + b^2c=7, a=27^2 = 2^2 + b^249 = 4 + b^245 = b^2b = 3sqrt5the answer is letter D.
