![]() 2/7+5/6+3/4Find a number that is divisible by 7,6 and 4If you multiply 7x6x4=168. Rather, you can use 84.84/7=12: 84/6=14: 84/4=21:[2(12)+5(14)+3(21)]/84=(24+70+63)/84=157/84

![]() 2/7 + 5/6 + 3/4the common denominator would be 4*6*7 = 168 now 7*? = 168 ( it's 24, so u multiply 2*24) 6*? = 168 ( 28, so 5*28) 4* ? = 168 ( 42, so 3*42) ( 2*24 + 5*28 + 3*42) / 168 = ( 48 + 140 + 126) / 168= 314 / 168 = 157 / 84 ( 2* 157 = 314 and 2* 84 = 168)

![]() 2/7+3/4+5/6step 1 : take LCM which is 84nowstep 2:see 12 times 7 is 84 so multiply numerator (2) by 12 do the same with the other two numbers as well 2x12 + 5x 14 + 3x 21 ------------------------------ 84 = (24+70+63)/84 =157/84 1 whole 73/84

![]() Okay, here's one way:2/75/63/4Take a look at the second number in each...the denominator. Think of one number that 7, 6, and 4 go into...the answer is 84Now that you have what is known as a common denominator, do this: convert each of your original fractions to fractions that have 84 as a common denominator:2/7 = 24/845/6 = 70/843/4 = 63/84Now, add all the tops together. Remember, since the denominator is now the same, when you add fractions with like denominators, the final answer is that denominator by itself [in other words, don't add 84+84+84!]If the number you get is bigger than the denominator, don't worry...just count how many more than the denominator you have, then say 1 and so many of the denominator. That's your answer.24+70+63 = 157subtract 84 from that 157-84=73That's how many you have left. Write your answer like this:1 73/84It's okay to get a fraction calculator, by the way - it will save you loads of time. Good luck.

![]() 2/7 + 5/6 + 3/4 = 157/84First get the LCD. Simplest way is to multiply the denominators.7*6*4 = 168 [(2*6*4) + (5*4*7) + (3*6*7)] / 168[48 + 140 + 126]/168314/168Getting its lowest term we will have157/84
