Question #1:
I am a fraction in simplest form. I am greater than 1/3 and less than 1/2. The sum of all of my digits is 8. The difference between my numerator and denominator is 7. What fraction am I?

Does it work with the other conditions? Sum of the digits: 5 + 1 + 2 = 8. Good. Difference between numerator and denominator: subtracting the smaller number (5) from the larger one (12), we get: 12-5 = 7. Good. Therefore, 5/12 works for all the conditions; that's your answer. __________________ The only real failure in life is the failure to try

That is correct! I can tell you looked that up on Google because you have the same exact answer and explanation as the answer on the website I found this from! (Yahoo! Answers.) {BUSTED} I am just kidding! I don't blame you because if I wasn't asking the question I would've probably looked it up too!

the one father is both a son and a father. In other words, its a grandfather, a father, and a son.
