I am a CPA and our profession has had lots of growth due to the accounting failures at companies such as Enron. This has led to extremly time consuming projects such as SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) and Fin 48. Recently we advertised in Toledo and had next to no applicants and the economy stinks here too. So I would recommend getting an accounting degree.
