![]() I suppose you mean degrees of freedom. For a normal T distribution, degrees of freedom is n-1, where n is the sample size.For two normal T distributions, degrees of freedom is n1+n2-2, where n1 and n2 are the sample sizes of your data. This is assuming the two variances unknown but equal.Same case, for two normal T distributions, but this time the two variances are not equal, then this is how to find the degrees of freedom...DF= [(V1/n1 + V2/n2 )^2 ]/ [(V1/n1)^2 /(n1-1) + (V2/n2)^2 /(n2-2)] where V1 is the first sample variance, V2 is the second sample variance
