Problem on ratios

Help me to solve my algebra 2 homework on Ratios

In a college seats for Maths, Physics and Biology are in the ratio of 8: 7: 6. Now the seats are increased by 25%, 40% and 65%. So what will be the ration of new increased seats?

8 +25% = 8 + .25(8) = 8 + 2 = 10
7 +40% = 7 + .4(7) = 7 + 2.8 = 9.8
6 +65% = 6 + .65(6) = 6 + .9 = 6.9

10 : 9.8 : 6.9

(m): 8 * (1 + 25/100) = 8 * (1 + 0,25) = 8 * 1,25 = 10
(p): 7 * 1,4 = 9,8
(b): 6 * 1,65 = 9,9

8 : 7 : 6 ==> 10 : 9,8 : 9,9

Your answer is correct. I had a typo on the third value of my answer.

All the answers are correct but this the best way to make someone understand the solution.
