Do I need to know algebra II for the SATs?
I'm going to be a junior in high school this year, but do to me screwing up and some other things, I'm only just starting geometry. I took Algebra I my freshman year. I want to take the SATs this year so I can apply to universities and apply for a ROTC scholarship. My question is, is there a lot of algebra II on the SATs? The only thing i'm worrying about for the SATs is the math part, where I'm weak at.

yes you do need to know algebra 2 but there is not a ton of it. You can probablly get away without knowing it or take a prep class and try to cram in some of it.

Yeah, they test you broadly. Even on things such as Trig. since they are testing everyone and not putting them into catagories of what classes the students are in.

i think you might need to know a bit of algebra 2 in the SATs, as well as geometry and basic math. my advice to you is to go to a local bookstore like barnes and noble or borders and go to the test prep section. get yourself a book on practicing for the math section of the SATs and see how much you know and howm uch you dont

Youre going to have a mix of things. I reccomend you try to take a SAT prep class, especially in math since youre weak in it. I reccomend taking SAT English as well because it may not be what you expect. There some good strategies for both parts that you should really look into. GOOD LUCK.
