Default Math Help!?

Jack works at a restaurant and eats one enchilada for lunch every day that he works. He fiquers that he ate 240 enchiladas last year. 3 enchiladas have 705 calories. how many calories did he take in last year fo eating enchiladas.can you show me the cross poduct method and ratio method for this problem?

the cross product is x . . 705----- = -----240 . . 3Then you have x= 240/3 *705How to understand it? x calories for 240 enchiladas have the same ration than 705 calories for 3 enchiladas.

3 enchiladas have 705 caloriesso 1 enchilada will have 705/3 = 235 caloriesso 240 enchiladas will have 240*235=56400 calories.

ur info:he ate 240 enchiladas705 calories for 3 enchiladasur question:how many calories all 2gether was eaten?1. u need 2 figure out how many calories 1 enchilada equals 705 calories divided by 3 enchiladas equals one's calories 705 divided by 3= 235 each enchilada equals 235 calories2. u need 2 figure how many calories he ate all together 235 calories for each enchilada multiplied by 240 eaten 235 multiplied by 240= 56,400 he ate 56,400 calories from the enchiladas last year I HOPE I HELPEDgood luck!
