Hi,

How to find the length of the perpendicular from (3,2) on the line 3x+2y+1=0.

Pls help!

Write the line in slope intercept form:
Since slopes of perpendicular lines are negative reciprocals, the perpendicular line is in the form Substituting (3,2) in, we find , so the line is
