![]() I have an annoying problem. What is 2 to the power of 1997? I thought that 1997*1997= 2 to the power of 1997. I dont know if that's right though.

![]() Quote:
2 to the power of 1997 = 2^1997 2^1997 = (2^2000)/(2^3) = ((2^125)^16)/8 = [(2^16)(2^16)(2^16)(2^16)(2^16)(2^16)(2^16)(2^13)]^16/8 = [(65536^7)(8192)]^16/8 = approx. 1.43516337 x 10^601 |
