Default Percentage/Word Math Problem?

Danielle is competeing in a national dance competition. In the competition, there are 65 people she will be competeing against. Danielle wants to make it into the "Top 10" because the competition takes the top 10 and puts them to a higher level. What is the percent that Danielle will reach her goal?Sorry if the wording is off and I hope you understand me. Thanks, and this is actually the situation i'm in and I want to find out the likely - hood of me getting in he top 10.

Ask yourself what percent is 10 of 65. You divide 10 by 65 . You would have to be in the top 15.5% in order to qualify. 65-10 is how many people you have to beat. Answer; 55
