Default Geometry Parallelogram Question?

If you want to find the coordinates of the intersection of the diagonals of parallelogram ABCD given the vertex points you would need to: Find the slope of the two diagonals. Find the distance of the two diagonals. Find the midpoint of the two diagonals. It is not possible to find the intersection of the diagonals.

Why not just find the midpoint of one of the diagonals? If you know (or can determine) the coordinates of two opposite vertices, you can easily compute the midpoint, since the other diagonal will pass through that same point.

why do u need to do all this?...just find the mid point of the diagonals....the mid point of both are same...so using the formula we can easily find it when the vertices of opposite side are given...
