Combine like variables on each side of the = operator:2x + 29/12 = 32x = 7/12Then isolate x:x = 7/24or x = 0.292

It should be x +(5/3)+x+(3/4)=3.then it can converted to 2X=3-(5/3)-(3/4)which is 2x+ 3-(1.67)-(.75)which is 2x= .58which is x= .29Check it this way:.29+1.67+.29+.75=3You're welcome

First Simplify to 2x + 5/3 + 3/4 = 32x + 20/12 + 9/12 = 32x + 29/12 = 36/12 (3 is the same as 36/12)subtract 29/12 from 36/12and you get 2x = 7/12now multiply both sides by the recipricol of 2, which is 1/2 and you get:x = 7/24
