![]() This is geometry. You can graph it on a piece of graph paper and it will make sense immediately.If point A is at coordinate (2,5) and point B is at coordinate (3,5), then the y's are equal, so AB is a horizontal line, so simply subtract the x values: x2-x1= 3-2 = 1
