Default Do you think slope is very essential in learning mathematics?

this is the question in our assignment IN CALCULUS due tomorow! heres more:cite some examples as applied in your day to day living..more or less 100 words!HELP ANYONE! PLEASE! THANKSok got it but i got to explain this thing in 100 words or less..this is a sort of a essay.. please also site examples in everyday life.. .. any more suggestions and answers? .. im ****** in this subject!@ LOL!

Slopes are so important that it is impossible to describe them in 100 words, it probably the most fundamental and most used concept of diff. calculus.

Absolutely,If your desk is on too large a slope, your Calc book will keep sliding off on the floor and you won't be learning much other than the Laws of Gravity.( I wouldn't hand this one in at class ).
