Default Where can I find the statistic"95% or people age 65 are dead or dead broke"?

I would love to find the source of this satistic. It was taken before a committee in the 1930's.

I guess that - to find a statistic like that - it would have to be true. Do some searches on AARP or some other "senior" advocacy page.

You can't. If you read it carefully, you will see it really says 95% of 65 year olds are broke, which is patently ridiculous.

Because you include the dead in the figure, it must be way more than 95 percent because people have been dying in this world for quite a few years.
