 08-08-2007 #2 Sillysidley   Join Date: Oct 2006 Posts: 822 We know that there are n nth roots of unity; in this case, n=4, so we can just find 4 roots of unity and we're done. Not that connecting evenly spaced roots of unity on a unit circle forms a polygon with n sides. In the case of n=4, its like a square turned to look like a diamond (rhombus). Its pretty easy to find that the 4th roots of unity are 1, -1, i, and -i. Atleast I think... __________________ . Last edited by Sillysidley; 08-08-2007 at 07:59 PM..
