Default Please help me in an algebra problem for my test tomorrow, if I dont pass

it I get thrown out of college. Help How do you get radical x+3 + radical 4x+12 the answer is 3 radical x+3 HELP HELP HELP HELP

(x+3)^1/2 + (4x+12)^1/2 Factor a 4 from the second part.(x+3)^1/2 + (4(x+3))^1/2 Take the square root of 4. (2)(x+3)^1/2 + 2(x+3)^1/2 Combine like terms.= 3(x+3)^1/2
