Ray created a pattern with the rule 9n, where n represents the position of the number in the pattern.

What are the first five numbers in Ray's pattern?

The first five are 9, 18, 27, 36, and 45(?) I'm not sure, I may have read the question wrong.

the first 5 are 9,18,27,36, and 45

just substitute values of n into 9n. This could be wrong, i don't think the problem is this easy...
