60-22=38 Then, divide the answer by 100. 0.38 Do the others by yourself. Of course, you don't have to do this, but you probably will have trouble otherwise. |

![]() Huh? Wait, no.
0.5 times 100 is 50. 0.12 times 100 is 12. If you have 0.5-0.12, you then get 50-12. Then, once you do the minusing (bad grammar), you get 38. 38 divided by 100 is 0.38. Get it? |

![]() You don't need to multiply by a 100, just line up the decimals, and subtract regularly. Just drop the decimal to the correct space in the answer.
