Total = 14 4: C 116/4, as they must be equally split into four classes. 5: A Discounts are: 0.15 x 20 = $3 (for shirts), 0.10 x 15 = $1.5 (for ties) Therefore, 3 x 2 + 1.5 x 3 = 6 + 4.5 = $10.50 discount. 6: A 2n would make it an even number, regardless, meaning 2n + 1 or 2n – 1 would make it an odd number. n - 2 would also make an odd number. 7: N/A 8: D Answer should be new/old, 9/5. This gets an answer of 180%, so 80% increase. To check it over, $5 x 180% = $9. 9: D Dividing both top and bottom of the fraction by 3 to get 14/3. 10: N/A |
