Help!
The base of the prism shown below is a regular hexagon with side lengths of 8 centimeters. The area of one of its bases is about 166 square centimeters. What is the surface area of this hexagonal prism?

Each lateral face of the prism is a rectangle with dimensions of 8 x 30 = 240 sq cm. Since there are 6 lateral faces their area is 6 x 240 = 1440 sq cm. The total surface area is about 332 + 1440 = 1772 sq cm.
