Let x be the number of years.

36 + x = 2(11 + x)
36 + x = 22 + 2x
36 + x - x = 22 + 2x - x
36 = 22 + x
36 - 22 = 22 - 22 + x
14 = x

So in 14 years Julio will be 50 and James will be 25.
